Short Crust Pastry

Ingredientes:

120g (4 oz) plain flour
Pinch of salt
3 tblsp MCT Oil
2 tblsp water – very cold

Oven temperatures: 200°C (400°F) or gas mark 6


Method:

Sift flour and salt together
Whisk oil and water together
Make a well in the centre of the flour and add the liquid stirring with a fork until a dough is formed.
Roll out between greaseproof paper and use as required in any recipe calling for pastry
When baking an empty flan case, cook for 10 – 15 minutes
